Application Review

  1. Applications are typically reviewed by our adoption team within 72 hours of receipt. While we strive to be as quick as possible, decisions can sometimes take up to a week. We appreciate your patience.
  2. Upon successful review of your application (which may include follow-up questions by telephone), RDHS will call to arrange a meeting at the shelter to ensure the cat you have applied for will be a good fit for your home.
  3. Once the match is made and the adoption fee paid, your new friend can be taken home and loved forever!
