Do I need a pet carrier to bring my cat home?

Yes. A pet carrier will be needed to safely transport your animal home, future veterinary visits, and anywhere else you'll want to transport your cat. If you can't borrow one, pet carriers can be purchased at the Animal House pet store or on amazon.ca.

What if I want to feed my new cat something different?

The healthier the better! Whichever brand you choose, all changes to any cat's diet must be done gradually to minimize digestive system stress. RDHS will send you home with enough food for the transition. Over the next 7 days, mix a growing proportion of your food with ours and all will be good with you and your new furry friend.
